Staples Warehouse in Monroe NJ is a 200,000 square foot facility that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. GreenTech reduced their electrical usage by 65%. Staples were able to offset the cost of the program by taking advantage of local utility rebates. The program paid for itself in well under two years.

Old existing 400 Watt Metal Halide technologies were replaced with New State of the Art Fluorescent technology. Light levels were improved and was the quality of light. Sensors were installed on aisle fixtures to turn individual lights off when the areas went unoccupied.

Heritage Towers

GreenTech Energy Services completed a turn-key lighting retrofit project for the Heritage Towers Nursing Home in Doylestown , Pa. The project had a 2.1 year payback and resulted in energy savings and an improved overall aesthetic environment.

Saint Mary Manor Nursing Home and Retirement Center

Saint Mary Manor is part of the Philadelphia Archdiocese Catholic Health Care Organization. This facility was chosen as a test site for the Diocese to demonstrate the financial and technical benefits of a lighting retrofit program. The program cost was $100,843 with energy and operational savings of 451,127. The project had a 2 year payback. John Chapman , Nursing Home Administrator had this to say about the project. "I was on vacation for 2 weeks while the project was being installed and couldn't believe the noticeable difference the energy efficient lighting had to our facility. The new technology gives our facility a much warmer feel and has saved significantly in our electric bill."

 

Fox Chase Cancer Center

GreenTech Energy Services completed a lighting retrofit for the entire hospital and research facility. The project had a 1.7 year payback. Jim Duncan, Physical Plant Director says " GreenTech did a great job of installing the retrofits without interfering with the hospital environment.
